EAEU TR 039/2016 On requirements for mineral fertilizer
The Technical Regulation TR EAEU 039/2016 On requirements for mineral fertilizer contains binding safety requirements for liquid or solid mineral fertilizers as well as their transport, storage and marking in order to ensure the free circulation in the customs union.

Application area
The Technical Regulation TR EAEU 039/2016 should be used for all mineral fertilizers:
- solid or liquid fertilizers
- single or multi fertilizers
- macro- and micronutrient fertilizers
The Technical Regulations do not apply to organic and organic-mineral fertilizers.
The conformity assessment process
The conformity assessment with the requirements of the technical regulation TR EAEU 039/2016 On requirements for mineral fertilizer is carried out in the form of a state registration. The conformity assessment shall be carried out on request and on the basis of the evidence provided by the applicant showing the conformity of the product with the corresponding set of rules. The notified bodies accredited by Rosstandart or Rospotrebnadzor are responsible for issuing certificates of state registration.
EAC marking
The products which have been confirmed to conform with the requirements of TR EAEU 039/2016 are to be marked with the EAC marking of the customs union. The EAC marking is attached to each package or label and to the accompanying documents.
